About Critter Gitters
A Florida native, Joey Baker was drawn to Texas during his younger years of bull riding. He moved to Crockett, Texas during high school and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. During his final semester of college, Joey participated in an internship with Disney World’s Horticulture Department where he was placed into the structural pest division.
Joey’s internship turned into a full time offer with Disney World. For seven years, Joey had extensive training in all aspects of pest management that included commercial kitchens, residential sites, lawn and ornamental as well as wild life. Through this experience, Joey gained the confidence to set out on his own.
In 2006, he moved back to Texas and opened Critter Gitters, a full service pest management company. Joey is dedicated to continuing his education in order to bring leading pest technology to improve the business and service delivery for his customers.
